Are you ready for your next challenge in trading technology? A leading global financial services organization is developing a greenfield Trading Data Lakehouse Platform to enhance front-office trading and risk reduction initiatives.

As a Principal Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and engineering a next-generation cloud-native data platform, collaborating with a global team to deliver scalable solutions for complex trading use cases.

What we're looking for:
✅ Data Lakehouse / Big Data platform experience
✅ Strong Spark and cloud-native engineering expertise
✅ Open table formats (Iceberg, Delta Lake, Hudi)
✅ Metadata management, data lineage, and governance
✅ Data architecture and platform engineering experience
✅ Greenfield platform delivery experience
✅ Financial services experience, ideally within trading or market data
✅ Private cloud experience desirable

📍 Location: London - 3 days per week
💰 Rate: £900 per day Inside IR35
📅 Duration: 6-month contract
