IT Business Analyst

As IT Business Analyst, you'll work closely with project teams, technical specialists and business stakeholders to understand challenges, identify opportunities and deliver effective technology solutions. This role offers the chance to influence strategic projects, support business change and develop your expertise across a diverse portfolio of programmes and initiatives.

Day-to-day, you will be responsible for:

• Gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements to support project objectives and business outcomes.
• Facilitating stakeholder workshops to identify needs, define solutions and build consensus across teams.
• Modelling business processes and data flows to support continuous improvement and transformation initiatives.
• Supporting requirements management throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring clarity and traceability.
• Collaborating with project delivery, technical and business teams across multiple concurrent projects to deliver successful solutions.

Essential Experience of the IT Business Analyst:

• Demonstrable experience working in a Business Analyst role within a complex organisation.
• Strong knowledge of business analysis methods, processes and best practice techniques.
• Experience facilitating requirements gathering workshops and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience using business analysis tools, techniques and process modelling methodologies.
• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and its application within technology projects.

Qualifications for the IT Business Analyst:

• Degree-level qualification in Information Technology, Business, Finance, Engineering or a related discipline would be advantageous.
• Professional Business Analysis certifications would be beneficial but are not essential.
