IT Support Engineer | Hybrid from London

Are you a technically strong IT Support Engineer who enjoys solving complex problems rather than just resetting passwords?

Pink Worm Recruitment is partnering with a established, well respected and growing financial services group investing heavily in its in-house IT Service Desk function.

They’re building their own in house service desk team and now require a hands on 2nd / 3rd Line Engineer on a fixed term basis, to help them make a immediate impact

💻 What you’ll be doing:

• Resolving escalated hardware, software & network issues

• Supporting Windows and/or Linux server environments

• Troubleshooting infrastructure & performance issues

• Acting as a senior escalation point within the Service Desk

• Contributing to service improvement and documentation

About you:

✔ Proven 2nd or 3rd Line support experience

✔ Strong infrastructure troubleshooting skills

✔ Windows and/or Linux server exposure

✔ Experience with ITSM/ticketing tools (Manage Engine Service Desk Plus would be a bonus)

✔ Organised, solutions-focused approach with ability to manage multiple priorities and work well independently as well as a team
