I'm hiring! Research and Knowledge Exchange Operations Manager - NU London

Northeastern University London's Research and Knowledge Exchange Services team is growing, and we're looking for a Research Operations Manager to join us.

This is a genuinely varied role. One day you might be working on a funding bid with an academic; the next you're negotiating a collaboration agreement, or working through a data management plan. No two weeks look the same, and the right person for this job will enjoy that and be energised by moving between grant support, contract review, and project delivery.

You'll work closely with our Senior RKE Manager and RKE Finance Manager, supporting externally funded research across the full lifecycle - from pre-award advice through to non-financial post-award management, contracts and IP, and research ethics coordination.

What we're looking for:
📍 Substantial experience with non-financial post-award research project management in a UK HE (or comparable) setting
📍 A track record of reviewing or negotiating research contracts and collaboration agreements
📍 Solid financial literacy
📍 Above all: comfort with a genuinely mixed workload and competing priorities

£52,000–£58,000 per annum, hybrid (Devon House, London, ~1 day/week in office), full time, permanent.
