Urgent Position: Software Developer

Our client is seeking an experienced Software Developer to lead the end-to-end development of a new payment gateway platform.

This is a unique opportunity to join an early-stage venture and work directly with the founder to build a secure, scalable solution from the ground up.

There is no existing codebase and no technical team in place. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the architecture, selecting the technology stack, and delivering the product from concept to launch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and launch a payment gateway platform from scratch
• Define and implement the overall system architecture and technology stack
• Develop and maintain front-end and back-end applications
• Design and integrate APIs and payment processing workflows
• Build secure and scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS or Microsoft Azure
• Implement security-first development practices across all systems
• Manage version control, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders

90-Day Deliverable:

• Deliver a fully functional, tested, and operational payment gateway within the first 90 days

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven experience in software development across both front-end and back-end technologies
• Strong API design and integration experience
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure
• Solid understanding of payment systems, transaction flows, acquirer integrations, and settlement processes
• Experience building secure applications with scalability in mind
• Proficiency with Git and modern development practices
• Ability to work independently and manage end-to-end project delivery
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
